RV Connex and Defence Technology Institute (DTI) Sign MoU to Advance Thailand’s Defense and Dual-Use Technology Capabilities

Nonthaburi, Thailand — November 13, 2025 — R V Connex Co., Ltd. (RVC) and the Defence Technology Institute (DTI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in research, development, and integration of defense and dual-use technologies. The signing ceremony took place at Defense & Security 2025, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
This collaboration aims to enhance Thailand’s technological capabilities and innovation in national security, focusing on the development of advanced defense systems, promote, support, and cooperation in military standard testing and defense industry development, including the operation of defense-related industrial activities and Technology Transfer between Parties. The partnership also emphasizes leveraging research and technology outcomes for both defense and commercial applications to support the sustainable growth of Thailand’s defense industry.
Under this MoU, RVC and DTI will jointly advance national security initiatives through knowledge transfer and research cooperation,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sujate Jantarang, President of R V Connex Co., Ltd., highlighted the significance of this collaboration in reinforcing Thailand’s technological sovereignty. “In today’s landscape, cyber attacks, online scams, and digital threats have become increasingly complex and widespread. It is vital for Thailand to establish its own capabilities — not only to defend, but also to innovate independently in key areas such as cyber and drone technologies. This collaboration represents a step toward ensuring that our nation possesses the sovereign technological foundation necessary to safeguard its future.”
The partnership also seeks to create industrial and commercial opportunities, ensuring that technologies developed meet operational requirements across both domestic and international markets. In addition, both organizations will conduct joint training programs, workshops, and academic exchanges to establish a strong foundation for long-term technological collaboration.
This signing marks another key milestone in strengthening public–private partnerships under Thailand’s National Security Strategy, which promotes the advancement of defense science and technology toward practical and commercial applications.
