Bangkok, 28 November 2025 — National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT) and R V Connex Co., Ltd. (RV Connex) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on research and development of an advanced integrated CCTV security system using Artificial Intelligence (AI). The partnership also includes exploring future business expansion opportunities. Both organizations will work together to identify where these innovations can deliver the greatest operational impact for the country.

The MoU was signed by Colonel Sanpachai Huvanandana, President of NT, and Ms. Nardwadee Watanakij, Vice President of Business Development and Member of the Board of Directors, RV Connex, at NT Headquarters, Chaeng Wattana Road.

Col Sanpachai stated:

“We are delighted to collaborate with RV Connex, a leading Thai defense technology company with deep expertise in advanced technologies and innovative deep-tech solutions for national security.

This cooperation focuses on jointly developing an AI-powered integrated CCTV and sensor system capable of analyzing video and imagery from IoVT — Internet of Video Things — devices. Through shared studies and knowledge exchange, we aim to enhance Thailand’s security technology capabilities by applying AI to deliver more efficient, secure, and standardized safety systems, including intelligent alerting features.

The project will involve prototyping and proof-of-concept activities to support security applications such as traffic management, facial recognition, license plate identification, and more.

Ultimately, this cooperation will strengthen Thailand’s AI capabilities through NT’s robust infrastructure, enhance the nation’s digital transformation and security, and promote continued innovation that will deliver economic and social value.”

Ms. Nardwadee added:

“RV Connex is honored to partner with NT — a key state enterprise driving the advancement of Thailand’s telecommunications industry.

We continuously invest in research and development, supported by highly skilled engineers and expertise in advanced technologies including AI, real-time data processing, and end-to-end solution design.

Through this collaboration, we aim to strengthen Thailand’s digital capabilities and deliver practical solutions tailored to real operational needs. Our goal is to support Thailand’s transition from being merely a ‘technology buyer’ to becoming a ‘technology innovator’ that creates its own intellectual property.

This will reinforce national technology sovereignty, reduce dependency on foreign systems, enhance data security, and create high-value careers for Thai talent.

Beyond security applications, this collaboration opens a pathway for future innovation, including unmanned system solutions and diverse AI-driven capabilities — enabling Thailand to confidently compete on the global stage while delivering cost-effective, high quality technologies that truly serve Thai users.”
