Bangkok, 26 August 2026 — R V Connex Co., Ltd., Thailand's leading defence technology and unmanned aerial systems company, has been awarded the Prime Minister's Digital Awards 2025 — Digital Software of the Year by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, for its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service powered by Azurites, a Thai-engineered OpenXDR Cybersecurity platform that enables organisations to detect, analyse, and respond to cyber threats around the clock. The ceremony was held at Techsauce Global Summit 2026, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, with Mr. Chaichanok Chidchob, Minister of Digital Economy and Society, presiding and presenting the awards.

Mr. Tanajak Watanakij, Vice President Cyber Security & Data Analytics (CYDA) and Chief Digital Technology Officer (CDTO) of RV Connex, accepted the award on behalf of the company as the innovator behind Azurites. He stated, "We did not build Azurites to replace imports. We built it because a country with true technological sovereignty cannot rely on someone else's Technology Stack to protect itself."

That conviction is the foundation of Azurites, a platform designed, developed, and tested entirely by Thai engineers, from its AI Engine to the dashboards used by SOC teams and executives. The system aggregates data in real time across every layer of an organisation's IT and OT infrastructure, applying AI, Machine Learning, and Behavioral Analytics to distinguish False Positives from genuine threats. When a real incident is confirmed, it automatically generates an incident report with remediation guidance mapped to the MITRE ATT&CK Framework, readable by both technical teams and senior management.

Azurites is currently deployed in production through MDR services across multiple countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia, India, and Switzerland, spanning industries such as banking and finance, oil and gas, healthcare, government, and data centres. The adoption of a Thai-built platform by international organisations speaks to the quality of the technology on its own terms.

On the standards front, the MDR service under Azurites holds dSURE 3-Star certification from depa, the highest level of the Digital Sure Certificate for MDR services in Thailand, assessed against CMMI Level 3–5 and ISO/IEC 27001, and officially listed in the Thailand Digital Catalog. RV Connex also operates in accordance with NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0, and Azurites has been reviewed on Gartner Peer Insights, making RV Connex the first Southeast Asian company in the Cybersecurity space to appear on the platform.

RV Connex extends its gratitude to depa and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society for recognising innovation built by Thai engineers. This award is not a destination, it is confirmation that the direction chosen from the very beginning, build, not buy, was the right one.
