Pathum Thani, 1 October 2026 — R V Connex Co., Ltd., a Thai developer and manufacturer of defence and security technology, has conducted its first community disaster-relief operation using the company's own unmanned aircraft, delivering meals and relief supplies to households cut off by flooding in Rangsit, Pathum Thani.

Over the past week, the company monitored the flood situation in Pathum Thani closely, flying the TITUM M2-100 hexacopter on survey missions to assess water levels, the extent of the affected area, and the locations that ordinary vehicles could no longer reach.

Following a request for assistance from Rangsit City Municipality, RV Connex prepared over 300 meal boxes per day and deployed the TITUM M2-200 quadcopter to carry food, drinking water and relief kits to those locations. The operation was carried out by the company's drone engineers, professional pilots, and employee volunteers.

The operation covered Soi Rangsit–Nakhon Nayok 25, 27 and 29 in Prachathipat Sub-district, Thanyaburi District, around Klong 1 where water levels were high, as well as the entrance of Soi Rangsit–Pathum Thani 19 and the area near Rangsit Bridge and Market. The aircraft flew across the canal to deliver relief supplies directly to affected residents.

Until then, residents had been floating foam boxes and wading through the water to collect supplies at the mouth of the soi, a round trip taking close to an hour, with real safety risks involved. Bringing in unmanned aircraft made delivery faster, and removed the need for residents to travel through flooded areas at all.

This operation marks the first occasion on which RV Connex has applied its own unmanned aircraft systems to community assistance. The platforms involved are designed for multi-mission use, with disaster response among the roles they are built to support, and this deployment demonstrated that capability under real operating conditions, in the company's own district.

RV Connex extends its thanks to Rangsit City Municipality for the cooperation and support extended throughout the operation. The company's team and aircraft remain prepared for continued assistance in the area.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the flooding, and with every family facing the water at this time.
